Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***seeking Foster-to-Adopt***
Meet Spice – a sweet and spicy cairn terrier mix.
She’s new to her foster home, but settled in quickly with the other pets and routines. She came right in and started investigating what they had to eat and what she could play with.
This 12lb, 5 year old loves to give and receive affection once you give her a little time to warm up to you. She is currently receiving care for a fractured tail and her foster home is working on her pain management while she waits for a foster to adopt home.
Miss Spice also had one eye removed and does not seem to be phased. She’s just extra appreciative when people approach her gently and with care.
She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is perfectly content coexisting with them. She seems pretty happy to do her own thing and explore, and then relax with you when she's done🌟
Spice’s Stats:
🐶 Great with dogs of all sizes
🧒 Likely good with respectful kids who proceed with caution
🐱 Good with cats
🐾 Likes walks and is great on leash
🧭 She likes to explore and sniff around
Spice would thrive in a quiet home with patient people who she can hang out with and get to know and trust.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
