Hey there, I’m Sirloin — sleek, soulful, and just the right amount of mysterious.

I’m a 4-year-old neutered gentleman with a glossy black coat that shimmers like midnight velvet. My vibe? Calm, thoughtful, and quietly observant—until the feather wands come out. Then I transform into a full-blown acrobat, flipping and leaping like a feline Olympian. Long feather wands are my favorite.

I’m not bonded to any specific cat, but I do love feline company. I’ve got great manners when it comes to meeting other kitties—I’m respectful, patient, and I know how to give space when needed. A chill kitty roommate or 2 would be ideal.

Right now, I’m living with a Boxer dog in my foster home. We’re still figuring each other out. I’m cautious, but curious—I like to keep an eye on him from afar, testing my limits and If you have a respectful, cat-friendly dog, I might be open to sharing the space

As for kids? I’m a sensitive soul, so I’d likely do best in a home with older, gentle children or just adults who understand I need time to settle in.

I’m not big on being picked up, and lap life might not be for me—but brushing? Oh, yes please. I’ll flop onto my side and roll around while soaking up every slow stroke, especially on my cheeks and back. That’s the good stuff.

I enjoy both dry and wet Friskies, and if you offer me a Churu, you’ll instantly earn a spot in my inner circle. Those treats are my kryptonite.

My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I was surrendered when my family faced hard times and had to move across the country. They couldn’t bring me or my brothers, and suddenly, everything I knew was gone. At the rescue, I stayed quiet, uneasy, and unsure of the world.

But things are changing. Since arriving at my foster home, I’ve started to unfurl like a flower in spring—slowly, but surely. I’m learning to trust again. I’m rediscovering the joy of chin rubs, soft beds, and simply existing in peace.
