My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peggy was picked up as a stray, sick and scared, but quickly learned how to be a loving, outgoing house cat once she was in her foster home. She gets along with other cats, ignores the dogs, and would be a great addition to any cat-friendly home.

She uses her litter box and has excellent house manners. She has a cat room with a door to the catio in her foster home, as there are many dogs and not everyone is cat-friendly. She would love to have a place where she can spend more time with her humans and have more cuddle time.

Peggy is fully vetted - current with her vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick
prevention.

More about this rescue

Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
