My name is Porthos and I’m looking for my forever home! Are you looking for an energetic, confident, fun, goofy and affectionate boy to play with and snuggle with and go on adventures with? Good! That’s ME! I’ll be 1 year old in September and came to my foster home here in Smithville, MO, from the commercial breeding facility where I was born. I love, love, love to play, play, play!! I love to zoom around with my brother in the fenced yard here. I get along well with other dogs and would love to have another nice dog to play with in my forever home. I haven’t met any cats, but I do have fun chasing birds in the yard, so foster mom recommends a home with no small pets. There are two little boys who live here. I am curious about them, but they can be a bit loud and crazy sometimes. I’m not skittish at all, but know how to keep my distance. I’ve learned so much here in my foster home! I’m potty trained and am a good boy in the house when my foster family goes out. I am learning how to walk on a leash and foster mom says I’m doing a good job so far practicing in the yard. I’m a healthy boy, neutered and vaccinated and I weigh 26 lbs.
