Howdy Doody from Texas! My name is Nick, and I am a very handsome 10-month-old Shepherd mix weighing 42 lbs. Right off the bat, you should know that I AM THE BEST DOG EVER! Truly.

I am sweet, friendly, kind, and loving. My goal in life is to find love and make everyone my best friend. That's dogs, cats, kids, strangers, even the vet is my friend! I’m affectionate and easygoing, yet fun and playful, and I walk like a dream on the leash. So nicely in fact, that my foster mom took me to Home Depot the other day, and I’m smiling at everyone who passes by while hoping for them to reach out and pet me… my favorite part! If you need a co-pilot for road trips, I’m perfect! I sit in the passenger seat, patiently waiting for my seatbelt to click so we can hit the road. My foster mom says I am WONDERFUL in every way! I am well-behaved, potty trained, only bark to remind you when it's meal time, and I know how to use a doggy door.

It's hard to believe I was sitting in doggy jail waiting for my execution when 4 Little Paws Rescue decided to take a chance on me, even though my paws are more of a medium size. It’s a good thing they did because I’m a total keeper. Forever dog material. Some wonderful family will thank their lucky stars that I found my way into their lives and into their hearts. Truly.
