My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This young lady wa found as a stray, wandering the streets of California. Now, at 15 years young, Gertie is ready for a calm and loving home. Despite being in her golden years she still has quite the pep in her step! Shes good with people and other low-energy dogs & cats. Gertie is looking for a quiet place to enjoy her time left, and make their forever family laugh!

More about this rescue

Handover Rover is a no-kill rescue that focuses it’s efforts on helping animals that are forgotten, left for dead, abused, neglected, chained up, the ones that are in the worst conditions imaginable. We provide a massive amount of free content to help owners train their own dogs, so they don't feel the need to give them up. And we document everything for the public, from training our rescues to our rescue missions.
