Meet Python regius, the Royal python. Wait, what? You say this is a ball python? Well, yes, it is, but their proper name is the Royal python. Ball pythons got the name ball because they can be shy and will curl themselves into a ball to protect their head. ball pythons are one of the most popular snake species with their variety of colours and patterns, there`s something out there for everyone.
We are currently taking applications only at this time. Adopters must be aware of the neurological condition associated with morphs that contain the Spider gene.
Sybill’s adoption does not include an enclosure. Adopters must be prepared to show proof of a proper setup before adoption. The enclosure should measure at least 48” L x 24” W x 24” H to ensure she has enough space to stretch out and move comfortably!
***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
