My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorably and somewhat confusingly named sister duo are searching for a calm, loving home where patience is a virtue and slow blinks are their love language. Mario and Luigi are deeply bonded and do best together, moving through life at their own gentle pace.

Mario loves attention and will wrap herself around your legs while purring and nuzzle up with you to sleep at night. Sudden movements and loud noises still make her pause, so she’s hoping for a peaceful home where sunbeams are plentiful and surprises are not.

Luigi is a gentle, shy sweetheart with a big heart and soft paws. She's very affection curious. She’ll come close, give you observing slow blinks, and maybe even rub up near you, but she’s still working up the courage for pets. With time and patience, her loving personality will shine through. Having Mario by her side makes the whole world feel a little safer.

They are both very affectionate with other cats and would thrive in a calm, cat-friendly home. If you have a quiet space and a gentle heart, Luigi and Mario will be the perfect feline pair to add cozy companionship to your home.

More about this rescue

Urban Cat Coalition is dedicated to helping create a no-kill community by humanely reducing the community cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR) and adoption programs.

We conduct targeted trapping and support community cat caretakers by being a resource to provide guidance with trapping and colony care.

We educate the community on cat overpopulation and the benefits of TNR.
