My Wife’s old roommate moved to Boston and her apartment would not allow pets. He has lived in an apartment for the first 2.5 years of his life. For the past several months he has been in his crate then let out and allowed to roam a small wooded area as well as a secluded part of the neighborhood. We are not able to keep him. He is a good dog, crate trained and leash trained. He rarely barks, can sit and lay down. He comes when called some of the time - he responded better to my wife’s roommate than he does us. Since living with us he has started to “mark” or pee on things in the house - most likely because for the first part of his life he was only around women, and he is not neutered. He will need re-potty trained if he is going to be roaming around a house outside of his crate. He gets along well with children, cats, and dogs. He likes to run around, can fetch, is affectionate, and will snuggle when sleepy.
He is allergic to chicken.
