My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Julianne! I used to live out in the wild, but now that I’ve discovered the joys of a cozy home, I’m never looking back. I still like to sit in my little egg chair on the porch and watch the outside world—it reminds me where I came from—but I’m much happier napping in soft blankets and stretching out in the sunshine.

During the day, you’ll usually find me snoozing, exploring my tunnels, chasing my plastic springs, or playing with my kitten foster siblings. I’m a social girl and I get along great with other cats and even big, gentle dogs.

At night, I become the sweetest cuddlebug. Bedtime is my favorite time because that’s when I purr, snuggle close, and give my hoomans gentle “hugs.” I especially love snuggling with my Mommy Hooman. I tell my people how much I love them by purring nonstop—it`s my special way of saying thank you for keeping me safe.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful kitty who will adore you, keep you company, and fill your home with soft purrs, I think we’d be perfect for each other.

My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
