Chowder is a 3-year-old Chow (mix) who has spent her short life chained in a backyard having litter after litter of pups. While she has been a fantastic mama, it's her turn to be the baby now! She is an absolute marshmallow of a dog. Take all those negative Chow stereotypes you can think of and throw them out the window. Chowder loves everyone immediately, loves kids, great with other dogs, and absolutely melts for the smallest bit of love. Outside life has been rough on her; she's got a patchy, impacted coat and fly strikes on her ears but she is loving being a house dog now! She is picking up the housetraining and crates nicely. Chowder is a medium energy girl and absolutely loves going for walks and even has nice leash manners! We are so impressed with her loving and steady temperament in spite of her rough start.
Requirements: No special requirements
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives
