Meet Rush – A Gentle Soul with a Big Heart
He’s a sweet and gentle soul who thrives in a calm, quiet, and cozy environment. Once he feels safe and secure, Rush loves nothing more than curling up beside you for cuddles. The only time he truly “rushes” is when sudden changes in his surroundings startle him. But with patience and time, his affectionate nature shines through—showing just how deeply he can bond with the people he trusts. This mellow guy adores gentle pets—he’ll even meow softly to ask for attention, lifting his hindquarters in anticipation of some love. Unlike most cats, Rush doesn’t mind a gentle belly rub and will purr happily in response!
Rush tends to nap during the day, but becomes more active at night, especially when he has your company. He’ll quietly explore the space and "speak" with soft meows, never scratching at doors or making noise—so you’ll still enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Rush is the perfect work-from-home buddy. If you enjoy a laid-back lifestyle and love staying in, he’ll be right by your side, feeling safe and content just knowing you’re around. He’s also super clean and smart. Rush grooms himself like a pro and picked up litter box habits after being shown just once—no mess, no stress!
-Rush is a big fan of catnip and cat grass.
-He slowly lifts his hindquarters and even rolls over to show his belly for pets, it’s very cute.
-When just starting to build a relationship with Rush, regularly lying on the floor with a blanket and staying still for a while can help Rush feel safe. Over time, this simple act reassures him—and eventually, he’ll make his way over to snuggle up beside you.
Note from the foster family: Rush is sensitive to the environment, preferably should be adopted into a household with quiet and regular routine. Loves people, though needs gentle and slow approach.
