The Adoption and Foster Manager reviews all applications and contacts adopters if it looks like a good match.

Home Check

A photo home check will be completed.

4.
Meet the Pet

We will schedule a time for you to visit the sanctuary and meet the pet, as well as introduce any current dogs to dogs.

5.
Take the Pet Home

If the meet and greet goes well, you can take the pet home the same day.

Small, Adult Dogs (under 30 pounds): $275
Medium-Large, Adult Dogs (30 pounds and over): $200
All Senior Dogs (9 years and older): $125

Kittens (under 6 months): $150 for one / $250 for a pair
Adult Cats (6 months – 8 years 11 months): $100 for one/ $150 for a pair
Senior Cats (9 years and older): $50 for one/ $75 for a pair

Birds: $30 for one/ $50 for a pair

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.

In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
