Hello Nice Peoples my name is Rufus!
No one really knows my back story, just that I was dumped by an evil person on the side of a mountain where I managed to survive for WEEKS.
Some super nice Ladies saw me and tried and tried and TRIED until one day they managed to capture me and that was one of the best days of my life, I didn't have to worry about packs of coyotes, mountain lions, etc and I was finally fed a REAL MEAL.
They took me to the shelter in case somehow I got loose/lost so my owners could find me.
NO. ONE. EVER. CAME.
I got lucky because this rescue knew my story of how I lived in those hills ALONE and now I was at the pound while we are having a major shelter crisis, so they bailed me out of jail-yahoooooo!!!!
They took me to a vet to get treated and I have been to training!
I'm a 2 year old-ish male Cane Corso and I have the most stunning brindle coat, I'm fixed, microchipped, and up to date on shots too!
Plus, I've been professionally trained and am crate and potty trained too!
I'd be best as the only doggo in the house or with another dog my size and no small pets or small kids and someone with guardian dog experience
I also could use a foster home in the Studio City/Sherman Oaks area if you think you can help me by adopting or fostering please reach out and text ROBIN AT 661-388-8704

Our dogs can usually be seen at our adoption events 2-3 Saturdays a month at Rock & Brews-Redondo Beach CA. Check our Instagram for updates!

We will check your references and make sure your home/lifestyle is a good fit

A volunteer will arrange to do a physical home check to make sure your home and yard are secure

We require a fully completed application, references, a physical home check, adoption fees vary upon a dogs needs and contract must be signed, all of our dogs go on a 2 week home trial prior to official adoption to make sure that our dogs are a right fit for your home and that your home is the perfect fit for our dogs! All of our dogs must wear a collar with current ID tags at all times-for thier safety. Dogs are not adopted out on a first come basis-we make sure that your home/lifestye is a good fit for our dogs. We are a foster based all volunteer rescue so please be patient with us responding to email or calls and Thank You for making adoption your first option!
