Hi. I’m Malarkey.
I know, funny name, right? Please don’t laugh… I’m still getting used to it.

I’m a teenage guy, and to be honest, I’m a little nervous about new people. When I first see you, I might decide that hiding is the best plan. It’s nothing personal — I just need a minute (or a few) to make sure you’re kind and not the type who would, you know… make fun of me.

Once I start to feel safe, though, you’ll see there’s a really sweet cat under all this worry. I like gentle voices, slow movements, and people who understand that trust takes time. If you give me patience, I promise I’ll give you my whole heart when I’m ready.

I’m hoping for a home where it’s okay to be a little shy, where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and never laughed at. If you think you might be that person, I’ll be waiting… probably behind something at first.
