Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Trufflesnout! This sweet girl is a confident, adventure-loving rabbit with lots of zoomies to let out. Her foster says, “She loves exploring and wants to be where the action is.” Trufflesnout is excited to meet new people. She’ll happily sniff everyone and accept an oat from your hand. She’s playful, inquisitive, and sometimes too busy for pets.
Trufflesnout loves being near her humans and will run circles around your legs when you come out of the kitchen. If you’re brushing your teeth, making dinner, or moving around the house, she’ll want to be right there with you. She’s a bold explorer who thrives in a home where she can roam. Morning and evening are her zoomie times, but during the day she’s mellow and likes to rest. She enjoys edible toys, sticks, and plenty of chew-safe enrichment. She’ll do best in a rabbit-proofed, free-range space.
Trufflesnout warms up to new spaces and new people in just a few days. She would be happiest in a free-roam home where she can explore and a person around often to share her curious, playful energy with. This spunky, social bun is ready to fill your home with joy, zoomies, and a whole lot of personality.
Trufflesnout is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year. Submit an adoption application for Trufflesnout at houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email foster@houserabbit.org and we'll be happy to talk more with you!

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
