My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lance is a handsome 1 year old Terrier/Shepherd mix pup. He was found as a stray in his foster mom's neighborhood. He was overwhelmed and scared but let her handle him to get him safely secured at her home as she worked to reunite him with his family. Unfortunately, no one claimed him so he is now available through the Darlington County Humane Society. In the time that he has been in foster, he has improved so much with his fearfulness and has become quick friends with another resident female dog. She has helped him gain his confidence and we have been able to witness just how happy and playful this boy is. He is working on his leash skills and improves each day. He has moments where he will flatten out when facing new experiences, but summons his courage when foster mom reassures him. He is continuing to work on new experiences and learning to trust me more.
