Mama also known as Francine is a lovely, gentle and affectionate adult cat who has a sweet way of asking for love—she’ll lower her head and squint her eyes, inviting pets with a quiet confidence. She enjoys being held and melts into affection, but she also has an independent streak that makes her just as content to lounge nearby and watch the world go by. Curious and mellow, Mama takes everything in stride and brings a calming, nurturing presence to any room she enters.
Friendly and easygoing, Mama is especially wonderful with young children and truly seems to love people. She’s vocal when she wants attention and can be a little needy in the most endearing way—always ready to nuzzle up and soak in your affection. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving through your daily routine, Mama is the kind of cat who wants to be near you, adding a comforting warmth to your home.

Tender Loving Cats is a foster based rescue, we require that you apply and be an approved applicant before meeting the cat/kitten(s) in foster homes. We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY. To make an appointment a potential adopter should email meetthekitties@tenderlovingcats.org or leave us a message on the volunteer hotline at 1-866-458-8228(ILUVCATS) Ext 1.
