My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a cat who’s equal parts charm, chatter, and companionship? Ozzie might just be your perfect match. This handsome tuxedo boy is full of personality and loves being around his people. He’s friendly, affectionate, and not shy about letting you know when it’s time for some attention!
Ozzie is talkative and energetic—he enjoys toys, playtime, and will happily follow you around the house like a little shadow. He’s also a fan of head rubs and has a talent for making biscuits when he’s feeling cozy and content.
He’s previously lived with another cat and could do well with a feline friend again, especially with slow introductions. Ozzie thrives in a calm, relaxed environment where he can be near his humans and feel safe.
Due to a history of urinary blockages, Ozzie will need to stay on a lifelong prescription urinary diet. With proper care, he’s done well and continues to be a happy, healthy cat.
If you’re looking for a playful, sweet companion with a big personality and even bigger heart, Ozzie is ready to find his forever home.
Ozzie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

More about this rescue

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
