My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Logan is a 3-year-old pup who came to us from MCACC where he was e-listed for being too scared and shut down to even be taken out on leash. Thankfully, with the help of shelter staff and volunteers, we were able to gain Logan’s trust and he made it to safety. He still has moments of uncertainty and will benefit from continued socialization, but he warming up quickly in the foster home where he spent the first couple months with us. Logan is sadly now in boarding and needs a new foster home urgently so he doesn't deteriorate again with fear and lose the progress he had made!

While with his foster, Logan settled in quickly and enjoyed life as part of the pack. He’s playful, affectionate, and always eager to be near his people — sometimes a little too eager, as he is still learning about personal space! This affectionate guy loves attention and has been known to gently paw or whine when he’s hoping for more cuddles. He’s high energy and does great in an environment where he can play, run, and stay engaged. Logan was working on his manners still — like counter surfing, leash pulling, and marking — but he’s been responsive to verbal correction and treat redirection, and learns quickly with consistency. He does well in a crate, plays nicely with both small and large dogs, and genuinely just wants to be loved and involved in everything you’re doing. He may be shy and scared at first, but don't let him fool you - he truly want to get to know you and be a good boy!

Logan would do great in an active household — whether it’s a home with other playful pups, or anyone who’s ready for his energy and a lot of love. Logan is still learning just how big he is, so only older kids with awareness of his “happy feet” would be recommended. He has not been tested with cats. Logan is hesitant to get into cars, but once seated inside, he is a great passenger. Logan is excited for someone who will love his big heart, his big energy, and his big personality.

Additional adoption info

We ensure that our huskies only go to families on a property with a 6ft secure fence, and remain the guardian of the animal for life - if there is ever need for a family to rehome their husky again due to health or any other major concern, we are always willing to take the dog back and find them a new home.

We do not have a physical shelter location just yet, and operate solely out of foster homes. We are planning to begin participating in adoption events in the near future - these will be listed on our website once available!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization located in the Phoenix valley that specializes in the adoption and placement of Siberian Huskies. We accept owner surrenders and strays, and treat dogs with specialized medical needs, or those that have just become homeless, preparing them for adoption into a permanent home! All dogs are made current on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and neutered before being placed.
