Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tatum!
About: Tatum is a very special boy who has been in the shelter for a very long time. He is an extremely sweet cat with a big love for attention and toys. He`s a shelter favourite of the staff and volunteers and is always happy to greet new people and demand love from them. Tatum loves toys, cat trees, scratching posts, scratching boards, and basically anything else that he`s given by staff! He`s always ready to cuddle with anyone who enters his cat room and will even have long conversations with anyone who talks at him -- he`s very chatty. He`s a very good boy, and he knows it! Despite doing everything that he possibly can to get noticed by adopters, Tatum is often overlooked. This is partially due to his FIV and funny eye, which along with him being a weathered-looking black cat makes him the opposite of what most people are looking for in a companion. Tatum is searching for a forever home that is willing to give him a chance despite all of this, and in turn he is willing to give them all of the love that he has to give!
Ideal Home: Tatum is a super sweet, happy boy that would do well in most home environments. His only setback is that, due to his FIV, it would be best for him to be the only cat in the household.
If you are interested in meeting our lovely Tatum, please send an email to info@hskl.ca expressing your interest, fill out an online application from our website, or stop by during our open hours. Tatum is waiting for his chance!
