Teddy is a sweet 8-month-old Maltipoo we got at 2 months old. He’s been deeply loved, but we underestimated the responsibility of raising a puppy — especially with no prior dog experience. Our kids really wanted a dog, but now all care falls on me. My husband works a lot, and I simply don’t have the resources — emotional or financial — to provide what Teddy needs.
He’s energetic, smart, but anxious. He barks at guests, gets overwhelmed with kids’ friends, and struggles with loud noises outside. He’s calm when it’s quiet but very reactive when overstimulated. We also have frequent visitors and often travel, which is hard for him — he struggles with separation anxiety.
Teddy needs someone experienced with dogs, preferably in a calm home without young children. He deserves a person who can train him, help him feel safe, and give him the structure he craves.
We love him very much and hope to find someone who sees his potential and gives him the home he truly needs.
