My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coconut is an 11 month old Great Pyrenees mix who is up to date on all her shots, microchipped, and spayed. All she needs now is her forever home. She is 59 pounds of pure love. She enjoys snacks, playing with her foster siblings, and hanging out on a comfy couch cuddling. She is very sweet and even-tempered and gets along great with every person and animal she meets. She is housetrained and crate trained as well. If you would like to meet her fill out an application today!!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet that you are interested in please fill out an application on our website. Once received we will review the application.

2.

Home Check

If your initial application looks good and your references check out then we set up a home visit.

3.

Meet the Pet

We have you meet the animal and if you already have a pet we do a meet & greet between them.

4.

Approve Application

If the application and the home check go well then we approve your application. Then you are able to adopt from us.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in an animal that is not yet in your state we may do the home visit virtually. It is conducted the same way with a small interview with the potential adopters first. Then we have you walk about your home both indoor and outdoor so we can see if there are any issues with your home i.e: exposed wires, lack of heat/air, or a broken fence.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a physical location all of our adoptable pets are in foster homes. We find homes for them both in the Newnan, GA area and the Mt. Airy, MD area. We host and participate in different events in both of those towns to show off all our animals. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals please head to our website and fill out an application. If you want to meet the animal first please follow us on our social media accounts to see where we will be next.

More about this rescue

We believe in engaging our community in the process of helping pets in need through education, enrichment, fostering, transportation, and adoption. By including the community in this process we can help to expand the reach of resources in providing abandoned animals with a second chance at a wonderful life. By providing kindness, compassion, and enrichment to animals in need we believe we can create an experience that circles around to providing the same experience back to the community volunteering in the process. By fulfilling our mission statement it helps the animals and the people dedicating their time to being part of this process.
