My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flip!

Flip has been through more than most — arriving with a fractured hip and enduring not one, but two FHO surgeries to get back on his feet. But you’d never know it. His sweet demeanor and loving personality have never wavered through it all, which tells you everything about who this boy is.

At 60 lbs, Flip is on the smaller side for an Anatolian Shepherd mix, but he carries all the best traits of the breed. He takes his watchdog duties seriously, will alert you to visitors, and loves patrolling the property alongside his Great Pyrenees companion. He’s calm and confident around livestock, chickens, and cats, making him a natural fit for a home with animals.
With other dogs, Flip is playful and social once he’s had a chance to size things up — he just likes to know everyone comes in peace. Once he does, he’s all in.

But more than anything, Flip is a people dog. He wants to be where you are — piled onto a dog bed two sizes too small, riding shotgun on errands, or joining in on whatever adventure you’ve got planned. He thrives when he’s included and loved as part of the family.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who has already proven he can weather hard times with grace, Flip might just be your guy.
