Austin came to Rescue from a Trainer of service dogs through a Prison Program. He's been living and training at the Prison. The trainer is closing her business, due to health issues but wants to continue to help the dogs that she trained, so asked us to help him find a new home.
Austin is house and crate trained. He knows about grooming and riding in the car.
The Trainer said he's a very human loving dog, always so happy and excited to see her, and is good with other dogs. He has a lot of energy and is a big dog, about 75#. Cats are also an unknown, but he will be tested, once he's out of the Prison Program. He also has not had the opportunity to be around children, so a home with small children would not probably be considered for him.
His adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.
