My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Curi and Joule came in with 6 other very young female rats from Southern Illinois.  They were taken in from a person who was no longer able to take care of his pets.  They are less than a year and are very cute and soft.  They are very shy and while they are not mean or aggressive, they are very scared and will need someone who is willing to continue to work with them on trusting people.  Curi is the all gray one and is very confident and will for sure "taste" your hand and finger.  She will come to meet you the second you come to the cage.  Joule is a very shy little white rate with black hood.  She is calm but tends to hide more.  They both love their treats and veggies (current favorite is the gerber puffs).  They seem to use the litter box as well but still need some work there.  They will make a great pet but will need someone with time and patience.  They will need to be adopted together as a pair.

Their adoption fee has been sponsored.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
