The perfect size! Not too big; not too small, Luna is the total package! She would love to find a forever home where she can enjoy sunbathing, couch cuddles and adventures!

Luna Lou appreciates a flexible schedule since her experiences prior to being in this foster were very, very long days. Luna Lou is exuberant and outgoing and has met kids of all ages! But don't let her initial excitement fool you, she LOVES to lounge! Her favorite spot is laying at her foster family's feet (or in their lap!).

Luna Lou does like walks and adventures too, as she didn't get those before either. She is strong so she's not a match for seniors or small children to walk.

Luna Lou lives with 3 other dogs and has also had some visiting canine friends, though she would be just as happy as an only dog with lots of attention and love!

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
