Andy came into foster care on June 4th with his siblings. Their mama was very young and inexperienced so she didn’t realize it was a bad move to relocate the family just feet away from a very busy road. And that is how they ended up with HALSC.
One by one his siblings have gone to their forever homes. Unfortunately Andy became ill and needed to stay in his foster home while he received medical care. Fast-forward to today…
Andy is curious, energetic and has very little fear of anything.
He LOVES playing with hair scrunchies, puff balls and wand toys.
He follows his foster parents everywhere they go and can turn almost any situation into a reason to play.
His foster siblings (4 middle aged cats and one elderly dog) think he is pest because he wants them to play with him and they like to lay around and be lazy.
Andy likes to put on a harness and go for car rides.
He is acclimating to riding in a stroller and going to shop with his foster mom.
He is currently going through a phase of “Am I fast enough to run out the door?” which is highly discouraged.
When he has finally tired himself out, he likes sleeping on a heated pad or someones lap. As busy as he can be, he is equally as snuggly when it’s time to rest.
He is interested in becoming a life coach or a PE teacher in the future because he feels led to wake up everyone to play when he notices they have been dozing longer than he thinks reasonable. He needs no outside motivation to get those kit’s moving and exercising.
After his foster parents play with him and want to hold and snuggle him, he obliges and enjoys it, although he is mindful of not lallygagging too long.
Andy is a self-starter and self-motivator, always conscientious of making the most out his time.
Andy's bags are packed and he is ready for a Meet and Greet with you. If you would you like to meet Andy please complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) adoption application located on our website. Here’s the link: https://halsc.org/adoption-form/
I look forward to meeting you!
