My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roz is a stunning 5-year-old English Spot who has already overcome so much and is ready to start her new life surrounded by love and security.

Roz’s story begins in an unlikely place: a horse boarding property next to a home where rabbits were breeding freely. A caring vet tech from one of our partner veterinary offices who boards her horses kept her eye on the bunnies struggling to survive there. One day, she spotted a rabbit with a broken leg hiding under a horse trailer. When she stepped in to help, she realized Roz was bonded to this injured bunny and couldn’t bear to leave her behind. It turns out, Roz was the mother of the injured bunny. She brought both girls to safety, determined to give them a chance at a better life.

Sadly, Roz’s daughter passed away due to additional underlying health issues. While her loss was heartbreaking, Roz has shown incredible resilience. She seems to know she’s finally safe and has embraced her new surroundings and human caretakers with gratitude and affection.

Roz is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl who would love nothing more than a calm, loving home where she will never again have to fend for herself. She has so much love to give and will make a wonderful friend to anyone lucky enough to welcome her home.
