Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Non-Stop Play, Curious, A Cat's Cat
Practically all kittens are playful, but Chewy Chimichanga, or Chewy for short, always has time for play! No matter what is going on or if you are even trying to play, if she sees an opportunity, it's time to pounce. Chewy will immediately run to you when she sees something dangling in your hand. She will playfully pounce on your legs while they move around in your blanket or paw at your charger while you are trying to plug your phone in. With a little patience and some gentle correction, these playful habits can be redirected towards Chewy's toys!
Chewy is an investigator at heart: she always needs to know what's going on. She will run to the patio, run through any cracked door, and jump on any cabinet to find out exactly what is there and if there is anything edible!
Currently, Chewy can be a bit timid around people. While she will gladly play with her people, she is not fond of being touched quite yet. With time and lots of love, we think that Chewy will be able to learn that people can be trusted.
Although she may be timid around people, Chewy loves other cats! She will cuddle, follow, groom, and play with other feline friends! Plus, having another cat friend around helps Chewy warm up quicker to humans.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Chewy Chimichanga, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
