My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Inky, aka Stinky Inky, aka Sweet Boy Inky,

Inky was brought to us as a one or two day old kitten in a Nike Box! He was found by a dog who brought him to its human. He was then brought to us as a solitary bottle baby. Just a few days later we got another solitary bottle baby (Ayana) and magically, they were siblings!

Inky has had quite a journey… He had a bladder blockage that was quite dangerous and life threatening. But thankfully, a WONDERFUL Doctor, Dr. Carter, at the Animal Welfare Society was willing to try to do a surgery on our teeny-tiny little 3-month old boy. It worked! He is doing great and ready for a forever loving home!

SPECIAL NEEDS ALERT: While we don’t know the exact reason that Inky had a bladder blockage, it could
because he suffers from some nerve damage. He cannot feel his tail, and we think that he cannot really feel his
nether regions. When Inky’s bladder was blocked, he chewed off his own penis to try and relive the pain. After
having a P/U surgery with the AMAZING DR. CARTER (this surgery reroute his urethra and took off his
mangled penis), he is doing well. Since he cannot really feel down there he does sometimes leave tiny bits of
poo on his butt. As you can imagine the poo then finds its way to whatever he is sitting/sleeping on. This is a
minor inconvenience – but something you should definitely know. Also, he may, in the future require a tail
amputation depending on whether the nerve damage repairs itself.

Even with all of this Inky is sweet, playful, purry baby. Inky gets along with dogs, cats, kids. He has only known our home where we he has two huge dog siblings (Whiskey 65lbs & Jazzy 95lbs), foster brothers & sisters, and three human siblings… He is an amazing kitten.

All kittens under 4 months old must be adopted in pairs unless the adopter already has another cat at home.
