My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mila- ARF was able to help ease the burden at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter by taking in several adult cats in 2022, and beautiful Mila—with her striking two different-colored eyes—was one of them. Mila has already been through a lot in her short life. Before Hempstead, she was rescued from a hoarding situation involving nearly ninety cats. She was adopted once, but sadly returned a few years later when her owner could no longer care for her. Mila is sweet, curious, and gets along well with other cats. She is also bonded to another cat, Gavin, and they should be adopted together if at all possible. These two share a special connection, and staying together will help them continue to thrive in their new home.
