My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stash (aka Half-Stash, Stashito, Stasheroni, Biscuitiere, and Tuxedo Simba!)

Stash is a charming tuxedo boy with a mischievous little mustache and a personality as big as his nickname list. He may start off a tad shy with new people and might hide at first, but don’t be fooled — he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, loyal companion.

Once he trusts you, Stash wants to be where you are. He’s a certified living-room lap champion, daily cuddle buddy, and enthusiastic biscuit maker. He’ll happily sprawl across your lap for snuggles and may even follow you to the bathroom just to make sure you’re okay — he gets a little worried if you don’t come back out!

Stash is playful, silly, and full of life. He’s a zoomies aficionado, founding member of the Feathers-on-a-Stick Fan Club, and reigning champion of the Toy Termination League. He loves playing with his kitty foster sister, toys, and humans alike.

He has met dogs and handled it like a pro — curious, calm, and nose-to-nose with no drama. He’s also met cats of many temperaments and is always interested in being friends. Stash isn’t fragile and truly wants to play; even a few “skippity paps” haven’t deterred his friendly curiosity.

About 8 months old and still growing, Stash would thrive in a home with kids, other cats, or even dogs — especially one where he won’t be alone too much. While he can entertain himself, companionship is his favorite thing.

All dressed up in his Zorro-style tuxedo and ready to steal hearts, Stash is waiting to meet his furever family at Petco Saturday adoption events. Come meet this sweet, playful, lap-loving boy — he just might be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
