Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Duchess! She is a house trained, 2.5 year old standard poodle. She has lots of energy, but is such a sweetheart. She currently lives with 4 little kids, but they play a lot and stress her out! She has growled several times and has now bitten, which is why she needs a new home. She did not break skin, but we want to be on the safe side and cannot risk another incident. The kids deserve to be kids, and she deserves some peace and quiet. She has shown NO other aggression at all. She is wonderful with other dogs, but needs a slow introduction as to not overwhelm anyone. She can be overexcited with cats, but calms down. She is loyal to her people and does fine with the kids when they are quiet, but not during play.
At this time, she will only be able to go to a home with kids/teens over the age of 13. She will do beautifully in the right home, we just want to see her get there! She is such a beautiful lady!
