My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie is an approximately 6 yr old handsome chocolate Cocker Spaniel with the softest like velvet fur and he absolutely loves to be brushed by his foster mom. Frankie was found severely neglected and sitting in the middle of a neighborhood street because he was blind. He came to SOCKS for his stray hold and when his owner couldn’t be found he came into rescue and was vetted, Heartworm tested, microchipped and had a dental. Due to him already being blind and the rescue not being able to control his pressure the Vet Opthamologist recommended that his eyes be removed which we had done. Frankie is a very sweet and loving dog to everyone- other dogs , cats and children. Even though he can’t see he knows his way around the house and yard. He often goes to the back door to go outside. He’s very good on a leash also and will follow his foster mom while on the leash. He has no problem hearing and will find mom when she’s calling him. Frankie sleeps on the rug in the family room. Frankie is very calm and easy going and would love to find a furever home with possibly another dog.

**Please apply to adopt at www.saveourcockerspaniels.org**
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama, and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references, and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved.  Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
