Dear Potential Forever Family,
Hi, I’m Harold… a 10-year-old chihuahua-mix looking for my life partner! Out of my many charming qualities, it is my laid back disposition and kind-hearted nature that best describes me. My morning routine has me getting up when my foster mum wakes which is easy since I get to snuggle in bed beside her (a must-have for my forever home). I go for a quick potty first thing in the morning, then have breakfast followed by a leisurely walk in the neighborhood with lots of sniffing, which are two of my favorite things to do!! From there, my foster mum and I head to the office for the day. I must confess, I am a model employee! I look forward to mingling with coworkers, getting my afternoon snack, then enjoying mid-morning and afternoon short walks in between our office work. My “work” involves curling up in a cozy bed next to the desk and sometimes even sharing the desk chair. I am a great listener and you can always bounce ideas off me! After having a lovely day at the office, we head home for dinner and another walk around the block. I think I already mentioned this, but I really do love my walks! My back legs can be a little wobbly at times but taking a daily Cosequin vitamin has been helping with that. I recently had a dental and am feeling great since having a tooth removed that was giving me problems. The pre-dental blood panel showed that my kidneys are in the early stages of kidney disease but I currently have no negative effects and am doing and feeling wonderful. The only thing missing from my life right now is a forever family. I long for a true companion and am the perfect partner who can go to the office, coffee dates, the park… you name it, I would love to be by your side and promise to pack in my signature lovey-dove eye gazing to boot! While I am a self-described cool dude laid back kind of pal, I am not going to be happy being left home alone for long periods. I am content with other animals but also ok being the only dog. I do very much enjoy my one-on-one time with my best bud (ahem, you!) and finding someone who wants to spend quality time together and share their bed are must-haves for me to thrive. If you are looking for a true companion to have lots of snuggles and laughs with, then let’s meet!!
