My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Myrtle, an 11-year-old black lab mix!

I might be older, but I certainly do not act my age! I am a goofy girl who is still so full of life, and I would love to come with you on your next adventure! P.S I love to sing so get that radio cranking for me!

I would be best suited in a home with no other dogs since I am very protective of my people, and dogs who are too much make me uncomfortable.

I am potty trained and will most certainly let you know when I got to go. As you can imagine I am a very opinionated old lady, but at least you know I'll happily decide where we should eat! (seriously I love snackies!)

More about this shelter

The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society accepts both stray animals and owner-surrender animals from Boyle County. We work hard to find loving forever homes for all adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We also have a low cost spay/neuter clinic for low income pet owners from Boyle County and the surrounding area.
