My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Agnus (yes, spelled A-G-N-U-S like the cow, don’t worry, she’s heard all the jokes), the sweet, sleek, jet black mama of the spotted Cow Kittens you see in this picture (who are also available for adoption). At just two years old, she’s already survived more than most cats twice her age. Agnus came to us after having litter after litter in rapid succession, and when she was finally spayed, it was clear her little body had been through far too much. But those days are behind her now.

Agnus is fully vetted, officially retired from motherhood, and embracing the good life with quiet gratitude and a soft purr. She adores other cats, she raised her babies and a few bonus kittens like a seasoned professional, and while she’s not a big fan of dogs (puffing up like a Halloween decoration if they get too close), she’s coexisted fine with them from a distance and may be able tonintegrate in to a home with dogs given time and patience. She’s just more of a feline’s feline, and that’s okay. She also does well with humans of all ages in her foster home.

Now that her mothering days are behind her, Agnus is slowly discovering who she is when she’s not keeping kittens fed and safe. She’s got a calm, observant way about her, and she’s learning that laps aren’t just for babies, sometimes they’re for her, too. Agnus would love a quiet home where she can continue to unwind, decompress, and be loved just for being herself. After everything she’s been through, she deserves nothing less.

If Agnus seems like she would be a good fit for your home, apply to adopt her at the link below.
