Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pumpkin is an 11 year old beagle mix who came into rescue from a high kill shelter. Her owners had passed and she was left alone. Pumpkin is house broken and has not had to go in a crate when I leave the house because she is the perfect house guest. She is over weight and still needs to lose about 7lbs which she is working on. Pumpkin loves to sniff in the back yard and go for walks. When she walks on the leash she has her nose to the ground and must sniff everything. She had 3 mast cell tumors removed from her chest. Our vet believes she got all of it and no further treatment is needed. She will have to be watched for any other lumps, though. Pumpkin must have had owners who loved her very much because she knows some commands and loves people once she knows she is safe. Pumpkin has gotten along with all the dogs in the house and tells the puppy to leave her alone with strong barks. Pumpkin is up to date on all her immunizations, is microchipped and is spayed. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $150.
