Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Oliver — The Escape Artist Extraordinaire (with a Heart of Gold) 🐾🎩
At 5 years old (or possibly 500 in soul-years, we’re not sure), Oliver is a gentle, easygoing Chihuahua with a face that says “I’ve seen some things” and a heart as soft as his newly fluffed post-dental smile.
Found wandering the streets, Oliver is now living his best life as a professional lap-warmer and dog bed enthusiast. He’s just been neutered, had his teeth polished up, and is officially ready to retire from street life and move into your home… preferably one with secure fencing and quick reflexes at the front door. Yes, our guy has a sneaky side—he loves a good jailbreak opportunity. 🌪️🚪
Here’s what Oliver brings to the table:
• 🐶 Gets along famously with dogs of all shapes and sizes
• 👧 A+ with respectful kids (probably fine with cats, too, as long as they don’t sass him)
• 🛋️ Easygoing, mellow, and extremely snuggle-compatible
• 🚽 Still mastering the fine art of housebreaking, but improving like a champ every day
If you’re looking for a chill, charming, slightly sneaky little dude with big “wise old soul” energy and an even bigger heart, Oliver is your man. Bonus points if you’ve got a secure yard and don’t mind the occasional game of “Catch Me If You Can.” 🐕🦺💨

Oliver is being fostered in Shrewsbury, MA.
The adoption fee is $500.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
