Meet Timmy

I’ve had Timmy for just a few days, and what a wonderful dog he is! From the moment he arrived, he’s been calm, well-mannered, and has not had a single accident in the house. I don’t have rugs on my first floor, but even without a belly band, he’s never tried to mark—such a gentleman.

Timmy was born in October of 2020.

Timmy is a classic Bichon: sweet-natured, non-aggressive, and incredibly social. He gets along beautifully with large and small dogs, new people, children, and even my two cats!

He has a healthy appetite and loves treats, though vegetables aren’t his thing. A little chicken mixed into his kibble does the trick—he eats that eagerly.

Timmy enjoys the outdoors and loves car rides. At the dog park, he was relaxed and comfortable, likely thanks to his previous experience living with two big dogs. While he didn’t engage much with the other dogs beyond a quick hello, he handled the outing beautifully.

He walks very nicely on leash and only gets excited when he spots the neighborhood squirrels.

He’s become my little shadow, following me from room to room. At bedtime, he sometimes chooses to sleep on my rug and other times snuggles in my bed. Though he has a dog bed in the room, he doesn’t seem attached to it—he just wants to be close.

Timmy is a loving, loyal companion with a mellow spirit and a heart full of sweetness. He’s the kind of dog who makes every day better just by being nearby.

**Please note that Timmy needs a friendly dog already living in the home chosen for him. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. There are no exceptions to these requirements. They help that Timmy adjusts well and thrives in his new environment.**
