Kimber is your classic retriever through and through—happy-go-lucky, always up for an adventure, and absolutely obsessed with water, people, and snacks (not necessarily in that order). She’s got a goofy streak a mile wide and a heart to match, winning over staff and volunteers with her sunny personality. This gal hasn’t been with us long, and something tells us she won’t be here much longer—swing by and meet your new best friend!

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
