Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otis is an approximately 9 month old, 40 lbs. heeler mix (breed is a guess). Otis is sweet and friendly with people and other dogs. Otis is good with cats. He has very little prey drive. He surely can learn to live with other animals like chickens as well if his training is utilized. Even though he has not been around children at our rescue, we think he would do well in a home with them. Otis has received extensive training in a board and train program. He has been conditioned to the e-collar, walks well on leash, is crate and potty trained, knows all basic commands and can hold them, is "place" trained, and is off leash trained. He runs next to a bike like a pro and would do extremely well with someone who enjoys that kind of activity. He will come with several lessons for his adopter(s) so his training can be continued and he can thrive in his new home.
Otis is a higher energy dog so he'll need an active home who gives him regular exercise. He has a low prey drive but enjoys chasing. However, given his training this can be easily managed. If you're looking for a well-rounded adventure buddy who has been taught an off-switch, look no further. His adoption fee is $900.
Otis is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.
