6/28/25 update: Gabbi has been stolen by a foster we thought we could trust with her care …for everyone who has applied in the last week, please note we are working on getting her returned to the rescue and are working with an attorney. Her foster, who works at CHOC as a nurse, is not handling this maturely and is refusing to give our dog back.
Gabbi is a 3-year-old cutie weighs in at just 11 lbs and has a heart as big as her ears. Gabbi may be a little bashful at first, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly sweet and loyal. She’s still building her confidence—especially on walks—so she’s looking for a patient, understanding home that can continue to help her blossom. Her foster mom is doing an amazing job at celebrating her small wins!
Gabbi thrives in a calm, low-traffic environment and would do best in an adults-only home (or one with respectful teens 14+). She's not a fit for a busy household, but she’ll shine in a quieter home where she can truly bond with her people.
