Spice is a 1 year old Husky mix with a big personality and an even bigger voice! This girl loves to talk to her people and will happily keep you entertained with her husky commentary. She’s very excitable, full of energy, and always ready for her next adventure.

Spice is an escape artist, so she’ll need to be leash-walked and kept safely supervised, but in return, she’ll be your perfect sidekick for walks, hikes, and an active lifestyle. She’s looking for an energetic family who can keep up with her enthusiasm and give her plenty of exercise and engagement.

Spice is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Our staff will work with potential adopters to help them find the right fit for their family as adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment.

Adoption Prices
Cats/Kittens: $75
Adult Dogs: $75
Heartworm Positive Dogs: $100
Puppies: $150 to $300

The prices listed above include the pet's spay/neuter, initial vaccines up to date, rabies vaccine, monthly preventatives (heartworm and flea/tick prevention), heartworm testing in all adult dogs (6 months and older), FeLv/FIV testing in all adult cats (6 months and older).

A $5 microchip fee is added to every adoption.

If you live in Pittsylvania County, you will be required to purchase a Pittsylvania County dog tag for an additional $5 (cash only).

The Pittsylvania Pet Center is committed to protecting the health, safety and well-being of all companion animals by working with Animal Control Officers in the enforcement of state and local laws, reducing the number of stray and homeless animals, and providing the best care possible for every animal that comes through our doors.
We will shelter and care for homeless, abandoned, and lost animals, work to keep and place animals in safe, loving homes, and provide education and resources to pet owners to enhance their lives and the lives of their companion animals.

We will strive to be the voice for the animals in our community and ensure that they are properly cared for. We believe that collaboration is key in animal welfare.
