Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet girl who you would never guess is 10 yrs old...Meet Goldie!
Goldie is a 10 yr old, female, 10lb, Chihuahua that we recently rescued from the Santa Monica Shelter. She was brought in as an owner surrender when the owner's daughter relinquished her on behalf of her elderly mother who could no longer care for Goldie. The daughter claimed that she had to move in with her mother to care for her and basically didn't want Goldie there anymore. It's ok...we work closely with this shelter and when they let us know about Goldie and her situation, we knew we had to help! We got her out immediately and into one of our amazing foster homes! Goldie is such a good girl and so laid back, but she also has pep in her step and loves taking walks and playing with a toy. She's not a barker and seems to be potty trained with outdoor access. Basically...she is perfection! Our foster mom does not believe that Goldie is 10 years old and feels that she is a few years younger maybe at 7-8 years old. Goldie was dumped when she was doing nothing wrong, but unfortunately this happens way too often. We know that her forever home is out there and she deserves the absolute best one!
Goldie is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.
Please contact us at: gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020
Goldie's adoption fee is $450
