My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dozer: A Pup in Need of a Forever Home
Dozer's Background
Dozer is a charming 8-month-old Dachshund mix with a big heart and a wagging tail that tells tales of resilience and hope. Weighing in at 29 pounds, he is the perfect size for both cuddles and adventures. Dozer is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative, making him a healthy choice for any loving family.
His story begins in an unexpected place—a cemetery. Abandoned alongside two fellow companions, Dozer was found alone and bewildered. The circumstances of their abandonment are unknown, but one can't help but wonder if their owner passed away, leaving these innocent souls to fend for themselves. Despite this rocky start in life, Dozer has shown remarkable resilience and a forgiving spirit.
Dozer's Personality
Initially shy when meeting new people, Dozer quickly warms up to those who speak gently to him. After making friends, his true personality shines through—revealing a fun-loving and affectionate pup. He is very dog-friendly, crates well, and adores the company of children. His house manners are impeccable, as he is housebroken and adept at using a doggie door.
Dozer's playful side emerges with his love for treats and toys, especially his favorite stuffed animal, which he carries around like a treasured companion. His transformation from a scared little pup to a bundle of joy is truly heartwarming.
Why Dozer is the Perfect Family Dog
Dozer is more than ready to find his forever home. His friendly demeanor and adaptable nature make him an excellent candidate for families looking for a loyal and loving pet. Dozer's ability to bond with both people and other animals speaks volumes about his social skills and gentle temperament.
This young pup is not only fun but also brings a sense of joy and warmth wherever he goes. With the right family, Dozer will undoubtedly thrive and provide endless love and companionship.
A New Chapter Awaits
As we search for the perfect family to welcome Dozer into their hearts, we hold onto the hope that his next chapter will be filled with love, security, and happiness. Dozer deserves a place where he can truly feel at home—a place where he can leave his past behind and embrace a future filled with wagging tails and joyful memories.
If you or someone you know is looking for a wonderful addition to their family, consider opening your home to Dozer. Together, we can ensure that this sweet pup finds the forever home he so rightfully deserves.
