Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reserved • Sweet • Affectionate
Exene is a sleek, short-haired black beauty with big, emerald eyes. She’s a low-key girl who was made for calm moments - lounging on pillows, stretching out anywhere comfortable, and soaking up quiet time with her people.
Exene warms up beautifully once she settles in. When she does, her affectionate side comes out in full force. She loves to be in the same room as you, cuddling close whenever possible, especially when you’re relaxing or lying down. If you’re offering pets, she’s happy to return the affection, and she’ll let you know with her sweet, expressive voice!
Exene is quite the conversationalist when she’s feeling cuddly, happily vocalizing to ask for attention or share a snuggle moment. Food, petting, and comfy lounging spots are the way to her heart. If those are involved, she’ll magically appear.
Exene would thrive in a home that appreciates a loving, mellow companion who just wants to be close. A peaceful space with comfy spots, and a person of her own to curl up would be her dream.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate cat little friend, Exene could be the perfect snuggle buddy for you.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Exene, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
