Sandy is a sweet and independent young kitten who’s just a little shy at first—but give her a bit of time, and she’ll come looking for affection and chin scratches. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’ll happily show her appreciation with gentle nudges and playful energy once she feels safe.
She’s full of life and loves playing with toys, especially if treats are involved! Sandy goes wild for anything lickable and will quickly become your best friend if snacks are in the picture. With her mix of curiosity, charm, and self-assured spirit, Sandy is the perfect companion for someone who respects her boundaries and loves a cat with personality.

Tender Loving Cats is a foster based rescue, we require that you apply and be an approved applicant before meeting the cat/kitten(s) in foster homes. We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY. To make an appointment a potential adopter should email meetthekitties@tenderlovingcats.org or leave us a message on the volunteer hotline at 1-866-458-8228(ILUVCATS) Ext 1.
