Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josephine (Jo) is an incredibly sweet, gentle dog who loves people! She loves to play & is happy to accompany you on a walk or hike! She’s also happy cuddling up for snuggles. She's 100% housebroken, spayed, & microchipped. She is UTD on shots. Vet records will be provided.
Jo is great with most dogs, but gets scared if dogs are too hyper, mostly if they’re larger. She’s great with older kids, but gets anxious around little kids. We‘ve never introduced her to a cat, but she does have a strong prey drive.
Why we need to rehome: Jo has separation anxiety. She’s on trazodone & (recently added) gabapentin. Trazodone was effective for 3 years but is now less so. We now live in an apartment & have received complaints due to Jo barking & howling when we’re gone. We’ve had Jo for 4 years, & we love her so much. She MUST HAVE a home with owners who understand her anxiety & have time & patience to work with her. She may need a sitter or doggy daycare while she acclimates.
